• This dark red and gold wood Cross from Pasquaro was made by artisans in Michoacan, Mexico. 
• The cross has a rose in the middle, two hearts on the sides, a woman on the bottom and a tree of life on top.
• A milargro or ex voto is a religious offering given in fulfillment of a vow or gratitude for recovery of an illness or injury.
• Each milagro is hammered into the cross with very small nails.
• These are skilled artisans whose families have worked together for generations.
