  • This ceramic doll is made by the Arana family in Tonala, Mexico.
  • The dolls/figurines are a couple of children dancing in typical outfits.

  • Her beige skirt is painted with colorful details along with earring, necklaces              and flowers in their hair.
  • The boy is wearing a detailed black Charro/Horseman suit.
  • The Lupita is hand painted by Mexican artisans. 
  • All the Lupita's are also signed by the artisans. 
  • Lupita is a typical name in Mexico, thus the name Lupita was given to each  figurine.
  • The family proudly manufactures each figurine and is painted by hand.
  • Najaco dolls are made in Tonalá, Jalisco, the company was founded in 1992,   family was looking for a way to depict Mexican people doing daily chores (especially women) while in their typical outfits.
