Collection: Lupita Doll, the Shepherdess

The Shepherdess watches the flock grazing on the open range, keeping the flock together for protection and moving it to fresh pastures before the land becomes over grazed.

Sheep are an important animal in Mexico. Primarily used for meat, some are used for wool production and woven into Sarapes and Rebozos.  Sheep farming can be found throughout Mexico and has been in progress for more than 500 years.
