- This ceramic doll is made by the Arana family in Tonala, Mexico.
- The dolls/figurines are a couple of children dancing in typical outfits.
- The details are wonderful.
- Her Orange skirt is painted with colorful details along with earring, necklaces and flowers in their hair.
- The boy is wearing a detailed Black Charro/Horseman suit.
- The Lupita is hand painted by Mexican artisans.
- All the Lupita's are also signed by the artisans.
- Lupita is a typical name in Mexico, thus the name Lupita was given to each figurine.
- The family proudly manufactures each figurine and is painted by hand.
- Najaco dolls are made in Tonalá, Jalisco, the company was founded in 1992, at the beginning, the family was looking for a way to depict Mexican people's daily chores (especially women) while in their typical outfits.
- Each figurine shows a figurine either going to cut nopales/cacti a seller of apples, vegetables, flowers, birds, the shepherd or the traditional pulquero, thus showing the every day life in a Mexican town.
