The  pink skirt shows a man harvesting the Agave Cactus in preparation for fermentation, surrounded by a beautiful Mexican outdoor scene.

Pulque is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented sap of the maguey (agave) plant. It is traditional to central Mexico, where it has been produced for millennia.

Najaco figurines are make in Tonalá, Jalisco. In 1992, the family was looking for a way to depict Mexican people doing daily chores (especially women) while in their typical outfits.


This folk art is full of colored detail. Each doll is molded, afterward each figurine is hand painted by artisans.
