  • The dolls/figurines are a couple of children dancing in typical outfits.

  • Her blue skirt is painted with colorful details along with earring, necklaces and flowers in their hair.
  • The boy is wearing a detailed Green Charro/Horseman suit.
  • The Lupita is hand painted by Mexican artisans. 
  • All the Lupita's are also signed by the artisans. 
  • Lupita is a typical name in Mexico, thus the name Lupita was given to each figurine.

  • Najaco dolls are made in Tonalá, Jalisco, the company was founded in 1992, at the beginning, the family was looking for a way to depict Mexican people's daily chores (especially women) while in their typical outfits.

  • Each figurine shows a figurine either going to cut nopales/cacti a seller of apples, vegetables, flowers, birds, the shepherd or the traditional pulquero,  thus showing the every day life in a Mexican town.
