- This wonderful ceramic squash was made, painted by one of the Trejo Brothers.
- This is the fourth generation of the Trejo family creating ceramics.
- The ceramic are fired at medium-temperature. They are fired twice.
- The brothers have used negative painted on the squash.
- It is achieved by painting the design with a substance that resists taking the color. Thus when the color is applied, only the untreated areas receive it.
- Please note the lovely pre Hispanic symbols.
