  • The Purple skirt shows a man harvesting the Agave Cactus in preparation for fermentation, surrounded by a beautiful Mexican outdoor scene.
  • Her hair has a coiled braid on the back of her head, along with flowers. 

  • Pulque is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented sap of the maguey (agave) plant. It is traditional to central Mexico, where it has been produced for millennia.

  • Please note all details; this figurine has been hand painted and signed by the artisan.Najaco are made Tonalá, Jalisco.  In 1992, the family was looking for a way to depict Mexican people doing daily chores (especially women) while in their typical outfits.
