House of the Dogs
House of the Dogs
In downtown Guadalajara is The Journalism Museum of Guadalajara, a converted family home also known as "The House of the Dogs".  At the top of the house, at the corners, you can see two statues, dogs.
The house is reputed to be quite haunted, former owners report having their hair mussed up, their feet pulled, hearing glass breaking, dogs barking and other noises.
The house is also tied to another haunted site in Guadalajara, The Panteon de Mezquitan, Cemeterio Guadalajara.  The former owners of the House of the Dogs, have their crypt here.

The Crypt

The story is that if you visit the crypt, by yourself, alone, at midnight, without light and pray the entire Catholic rosary, you will receive title to "The house of the Dogs".
However, you will also hear a disembodied voice, near you, praying along with you.  No one has yet been able to fulfill the task.
